Wow, what a fantastic holiday !
The house is a perfect getaway right on the beach with plenty of space and plenty of room and a lovely outdoor kitchen. For the week we were there it was incredibly peaceful with hardly another person to be seen, in fact we were the only two on the beach.
The setting is stunning with beautiful scenery and the incredible Aegean Sea. One afternoon we saw dolphins from the beach.
They made us feel at home and almost part of the family once we arrived. Maria and Stavros are simply the best hosts on Airbnb! They couldn't have done more for us. Maria went shopping, so we didn't have to worry about a car and she took us to the local town for the day. The food at their restaurant, Exotic Ambelli was delicious, proper home cooked traditional food every day with excellent friendly service from Manolis.
Quite simply this is the best place we have stayed anywhere in Greece!

“If there was an AirBnB category for uber-superhosts then surely Marianthi and Stavros would be founder members. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything was done with boundless enthusiasm which was quite remarkable given how busy they always seemed to be. We were regularly provided with unexpected sweet treats that went down well! The house is truly outstanding and surpassed our expectations; it is unique with all sorts of quirky touches. The outdoor kitchen is great and includes anything anyone could ever want. The indoor accommodation is superb; the bed was very comfortable, the shower room was spot-on and the air-conditioning worked well. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The beach was nice with access to free sun-loungers, kayaks, paddle-boarding, etc. Music from the two beach bars (one of which Marianthi and Stavros run) could occasionally be a little loud but not overly so and it always finished quite early in the evening. It certainly shouldn’t be an off-putting factor. Marianthi, Stavros and their family should be proud of what they have achieved; they have something very special at Ambelli.”

Maria and Stavros, are warm, helpfull and smiling all the time. They ask the taxi for us, bring us breakfast, do the laundry. Cabin is really small, but frontyard is amazig, nice decoration, just 3 meters from the sea. There is a fence so we dont have to worry that the kids will escape. There is a sofa and hamocks in the front of the cabin so you can relax and have the look on the waves. Nice rooftop. This is a unique placeon the island, the most relaxing,reagge usic frm the restaurat, is great and stops around 9pm. There are climbing areas nearby, but the more interserting sectors can be easliy reached by car or scooter. We will definitly come back1

This place is heaven. Not only are the cabins beautiful, cosy and extraordinary but whats worth more than the money you pay is how nice and kind the hosts Marianthi and her husband, Stavros have been to us. You cant even call it service, its just their attitude towards life. They are the two most lovely and heartwarming people i have met in my entire life. Keep your awesome and beautiful attitude up you two guys! Kisses from Caro and Alex :)

We stayed here in August with our 2 young sons and had a fabulous time. It is exactly as the pictures show and you listen to the sea waves at night from your bed. A small bay that is busy by day and silent by night as the beach restaurants and music (mainly reggae) finish when the last beach visitors leave. Snorkelling, canoeing, free sun beds and delicious home cooked food to cater for all needs at the beach restaurant cooked by our hosts and their grandmother - it is a real family affair with their cousins serving at the table too. We were picked up by our hosts from the port and made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. We had lots of goodies and fruit in our fridge when we arrived and clearly lots of thought and detail had been put into our stay/arrival. Only tip would be to hire a car or bring plenty of cash as the restaurant does not take cards and if you don’t have a car (we didn’t as just wanted to chill), the nearest ATM is a fair drive away. There is a local very basic mini market 15mins walk but do not expect to buy or find very much here except pasta, wine, beer, soft drinks and biscuits! Part of the attraction of this location is that it really off the beaten track and beautifully unspoilt! Can only recommend! Hardest part is leaving, but we hope to return!

My friend and I can’t even begin to describe how perfect this experience was. I highly recommend this spot for a relaxing and tranquil vacation. It’s on the beach with a full menu and water sports so you really don’t have to go anywhere else. The space was larger than we thought with a kitchen that was easy to use and spacious for cooking. By the end of our trip we didn’t want to leave and felt like we made new friends. Xoxo thank you again Maria and Stavros for a wonderful experience!

A fantastic house with even more fantastic and charming hosts. We felt lucky to have found this place, with its great outdoor kitchen and gardens shaded by trees. I can't imagine anywhere better from which to explore this spectacular island. Thanks again Marie and Stavros.

This was a perfect setting in a beautifully little house with easy and short access to the beach and the hosts own Taverna. Marianthi, Stavros and the rest of the family were very helpful and attentive hosts always taking care that we were missing nothing. Stavros was so kind to pick us up from the port. Can be highly recommend for relaxing holidays or for climbing as well in very familiar atmosphere. We will definitely be back!!
